A Croc Cornucopia

I liked Crocs even in the early days when they were, well, ooogly. I bought two pairs, a navy and an orange, and switched their straps. I then had tribute shoes to the Denver Broncos. I love 'em and still wear 'em on game day.

Since then, Crocs styles have become more numerous and stylish. My family received 5 pairs of Crocs (value $175) from the very generous @GeorgeGSmithJr to take for test drives. So here's the scoop.

Tessa tried the Gabby ($25). She loves the pink-ness (although they come in other colors) and the decorative butterfly. She finds them comfortable to wear and durable enough for riding her bike or scooter.

Reed gave the Electro ($30) and Trailbreak ($40) a whirl. He liked them both equally. I liked the rugged look of the Trailbreak. Both were terrific at keeping the boy-feet smell at bay (not that I sniffed too closely).
As for me, I am SWOONing over my new favorite shoes, the Malindi ($30) in a leopard print. They are as easy to slip on as flip-flops are, they can be both casual and dressy, and they are sooooo comfortable. I love the way they look, with peekaboo toe-cleavage.
The only non-rave in the bunch is for the Cabana ($46 -- currently BOGO). It's stylish, this black flip-flop wedge with a 3 inch heel and magenta detailing. But the thong that goes from the toe to the sides of the foot has the seam on the underside. This means chafing. Which meant, for me, blisters. I can wear these only if I'm not going to be walking around much.
Overall, a great haul.

Check out other styles for yourself. My friend, JoAnn, wore the 3-inch Cyprus ($50) to Cirque du Soleil, and was the envy of the other Mile High Mamas.

And I'm drooling over the Crema ($100), which would put me over the 6-foot mark.

See the new Fall styles and decide which ones are your favorite Crocs, and also see what's on clearance. To save even more, visit RetailMeNot.com first for Crocs coupons.

Finally, subscribe to George at the Crocs blog for current news on the world of Crocs. (And I do mean "world." Crocs is notorious for donating shoes -- like 15,000 pairs in one case --  to people around the world who need them..)

I can't believe how many different styles they have now! We tried to find ones small enough for the babies to wear over the summer, but struck out. Maybe next year. I did end up getting some with the fuzzy lining for myself and I wear them as slippers around the house.

My son has the trailbreak and loves them. I have some Crocs flip flops that are the best flip flops I've ever owned. Wish I could wear them every day.
