$100 giveaway: Pop-Tarts®: Choc-o-Lantern Chocolate Fudge Halloween

This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Pop-Tarts.
Tami here.  Mine is one Halloween-crazy family.

If our yard isn't decorated by October 1st, neighbors begin to ask if someone in our house is sick. Once decorated, cars slow down to observe the graveyard and haunted house that adorn our front yard. Trick-or-Treaters ask to come in to our house to take pictures of the spooky sites. Who knew that gory ghouls love Pop-Tarts? Check him out!

"Open. Open. Open." Do you remember those department store commercials? On September first, my family starts loitering at potential Halloween shops, waiting for them to "Open. Open. Open." We spend HOURS in the Halloween aisles, trying on masks, witnessing the latest animatronics, pushing all of the buttons to make the mummies move, the ghosts glare and the vampires howl. Even when he was one, two, three, and four, my son loved everything spooky. The scarier, the better.

And costumes are a MUST. Not just for our five year old, but for all of us. Last year, my husband was a butcher.

This year, my son, the youngest member to ever make the SWAT Team, will escort his parents -- a menacing football player (me) and his cheerleader girlfriend (my husband).

What are you going to be for Halloween?

Readers who answer this question, or the one that appeared on our last Pop-Tarts post, will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card from BlogHer.com. The contest runs today through Halloween, There are 9 other chances to win, so visit theBlogHer.com exclusive offers page for other participating review blogs to up your chances. See official rules.

The winner will be selected via random drawing and will notified by e-mail. After the close of the contest, you'll have 48 hours to get back to me (if I am unable to reach you); otherwise a new winner will be selected.

So, what are you going to be for Halloween?
If you aren't sure yet, what was your favorite Halloween costume ever?

Random.org selected Scott (#65 on previous post) as the winner. Congrats to Scott and  thanks to everyone who entered.

I am going to be a clown for Halloween. Pretty simple: colorful pants and top, a big bright bow tie, some floppy shoes, and of course…a big red nose. It is a fun costume that I wear every few years when I can’t think of anything else.

My youngest is going as the red ghost from Pacman and My middle kid is going as a Greek warrior (think Hercules). I will probably pull out my witch costume with the fake crooked nose, warty chin, and green makeup.
